Wood & Douglas meet the Queen

The birth of Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge may have stolen the headlines around the world last month but Wood & Douglas also created its own bit of Royal news on 22nd July. As part of being awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise, Managing Director, Alan Wood, travelled to Buckingham Palace to meet Queen Elizabeth II, as Wood & Douglas’ commitment and contribution to International Trade was acknowledge by Her Royal Majesty in person.
Wood & Douglas now trades in around 30 countries across the world and more than 50% of our revenues come from overseas business.
