Wood & Douglas featured on BBC News website

14 JUNE 2012

On 12/06/12 Wood & Douglas were involved in the TeenTech event in Basingstoke.

TeenTech is a series of interactive events for school children aimed to generate interest in science, engineering and technology. Wood & Douglas visited the Basingstoke venue with the P.A.W.S. (Portable All-Terrain Wireless System) system.

In this demonstration, P.A.W.S. (which is usually used to stream live video from rescue dogs) demonstrated wireless technology to the students attending the event. The camera and wireless backpack were attached to students who were then directed over an obstacle course, via the video and audio link, by the rest of team.

Wood & Douglas have been featured in the BBC’s coverage of the event.
