EWST launches new PTS-8000 Multi-Spectral Simulator

EWST announce the launch of its multi-spectral test set, the PTS-8000.
The PTS-8000 is a rugged, portable unit for RWR, MAW and LWR test and maintenance. The equipment generates user-programmable test signals in the 2-18 GHz, 36 GHz and UV bands with an IR variant available later in 2008.
The unit extends the range of the EWST EW stimulator test and evaluation products by adding UV and IR capabilities to the portfolio. The PTS-8000 is a low-cost stimulator aimed at maintenance depots and first-line test and evaluation applications.
The PTS-8000 makes its debut at the Shephard EW Exhibition in Interlaken, Switzerland in May. It will be on show later in May at the AOC Conference in Adelaide, Australia and at the AOC National Convention in Reno, NV in October.
