Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford

This weekend we were pleased to host our customers, colleagues and friends at this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.

RIAT is truly one of the most diverse flying displays in the world, attracting vast sways of the public as well as senior industry representatives, presenting a great opportunity for Ultra to network with our key contacts and further strengthen our relationships with our partners in the armed forces, government and in business.

This year the theme was Air and Space, with a staggering 245 aircraft from 39 air arms representing 25 nations taking part. A key highlight this year was the flypast of aircraft from eight NATO nations who graced the skies of RAF Fairford in a nod to the organisation’s 70th anniversary. Spaceflight represented another show theme this year, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of NASA’s first moon landing.
